Weigh out the beans on a scale, and reseal the container for the beans
Grind the beans
Fill the filter of the coffee maker with the ground beans
Measure 32 oz of filtered water, and fill coffee maker reservoir
When the coffee is done, pour it from the pot or carafe into the pitcher
Weigh 12 ounces or so (err on the high side, if you must) of ice cubes in the measuring cup
Add the ice to the coffee in the pitcher
Place the pitcher in the refrigerator, for a minimum of five minutes, during which time the ice will melt
